How Youll Make An Impact

Functioning as the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide support for processing all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities and is interested in assisting with month-end and annual financial close activities ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations, policies, and internal control safeguards. There is significant opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to help drive process and automated efficiencies that will allow AP to scale with the companys continued high pace of growth. Additionally, the position will support first line of communication with customers, vendors, fellow co-workers, and all other visitors to RTC. The position reports directly to the Senior Accountant with a dotted line to the Corporate Controller and will be expected to provide assistance to other departments with data management and administrative duties when necessary.

What Youll Be Doing As a AP/AR Specialist

Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Fife, WA location. Follow the companys established accounting processes Process full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately across a multi-entity platform Reconcile statements and process invoices for designated vendors within Global Shop Review, process and audit Ramp credit card transactions in line with the companys Travel and Expense Reimbursement Policy Reconcile vendor statements including credit cards Research and resolve all vendor discrepancies Follow-up with vendors and RTC departments for resolution Initiate paper and electronic payments and transfers Create and distribute reporting Metrics as assigned Assist with month end close Provide supporting reports and documentation for audits as requested Review accounts and ensure that payments are current Review aging reports for follow up action Reconcile A/P transactions Prepare accurate commission payments Provides direct support to the Corporate Controller on completion of special projects, proposal research, and problem solving Prepare annual 1099 filings including obtaining W-9 forms from vendors continually Participate in various ad hoc projects Adheres to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and laws determined by the company, state, and federal authorities Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications (Education, Skills, And Experience)

Ability to multi-task and utilize resources to execute tasks within a deadline oriented environment Interest in migrating accounts payable transactions to AI Automation Accurate, attentive, detail oriented, with strong analytical skills Interest in growing professionally through Accounting Professional and customer-service oriented with the ability to interface with employees, managers, customers and suppliers Able to function in a team environment with demonstrated ability in problem solving Professional telephone etiquette with excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and organize work load in order to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines Professional level of confidentiality in handling employee and Accounting information Demonstrated high level of initiative and strong trouble shooting skills Works independently, follows instructions, can concentrate for long periods of time, and is able to tolerate multiple interruptions throughout the day Team player with a can-do attitude

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Skills, And Experience)

Minimum 2 years in full-cycle Accounts Payable roles Knowledge of basic accounting principles Good oral and written communication, organization, and interpretation skill Proficiency with Microsoft applications and MRP systems Experienced and knowledgeable in accounting especially AP. Experienced with excel duties include updating daily/weekly metric charts

Work Environment

A large percentage of work time is spent in a machine shop where temperatures vary from hot to cold. The environment may also include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc. Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.

The AP/AR Specialist Compensation range

for onsite Washington and California applicants is $20-35/hour commensurate with experience. Some shifts may include shift differential pay rates. Other site ranges may differ.
