Perris, CA Job Summary Claybourne is seeking a full-time Material Handler Supervisor to lead and support the Material Handler team, including associates and team leads, at our Perris, CA facility. This role oversees the coordination of raw materials, WIP, and inventory processes to ensure production and fulfillment teams operate efficiently. The ideal candidate has experience managing warehouse or production support teams, demonstrates leadership, and has excellent organizational and communication skills. Candidates must be 21 or older and available to work Monday through Friday with flexibility for overtime or weekends as needed. Responsibilities Oversee and lead the Material Handler Associates and Team Leads, providing daily guidance, support, and hands-on assistance as needed. Schedule shifts, assign daily tasks, and ensure team adherence to SOPs, quality protocols, and safety procedures. Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to team members. Monitor team performance, track productivity metrics, and report key KPIs to the Inventory Manager. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address issues, and improve processes. Serve as liaison between the warehouse, production, and fulfillment teams to ensure seamless material flow and communication. Enforce compliance with OSHA standards, DCC regulations, and company policies for safety and inventory control. Perform and oversee production PR checks to ensure production readiness. Conduct and verify end-of-production QC and label inspections. Manage product returns (brand and bulk), update inventory, and oversee reintroduction or disposal. Ensure the product menu and inventory levels are updated in real time. Monitor raw material usage and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid stockouts. Maintain accurate WIP inventory records and monitor flow to prevent bottlenecks. Coordinate the staging of raw materials and supplies for upcoming work orders. Oversee intake and verification of incoming supply shipments, ensuring match with purchase orders. Inspect raw materials and finished goods for compliance and quality alongside the production team. Supervise proper labeling and storage of materials in assigned warehouse locations. Ensure accurate updates to inventory software and tracking systems upon receipt or use of materials. Maintain and regularly audit the physical and digital rack/row inventory system. Support the CSL, Production, and Fulfillment teams with inventory and material movement as required. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, production support, or inventory control, including at least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience. Strong leadership, team coordination, and problem-solving skills. Experience with inventory management systems and basic computer proficiency (data entry, reporting). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams. Committed to compliance with OSHA safety standards, BCC regulations, and internal SOPs. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Regular use of ladders and lifting of up to 50 lbs is required. Must be comfortable working in a warehouse and production setting with exposure to varied temperatures and cannabis-related materials. Prolonged periods of standing, organizing materials, and using inventory systems. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Full benefits available after a probationary period of approximately 3-4 months (medical, dental, vision, etc.). The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 / 7:30 AM - 3:00 / 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime or weekend requirements during audits or inventory events.
