About the Role As the Lead Histologist, you will take on a key leadership role within the histology laboratory, overseeing the daily operations of the histology team to ensure timely, high-quality preparation of tissue specimens for diagnostic evaluation. In addition to performing complex histologic procedures yourself, you will provide hands-on supervision, mentorship, and technical guidance to other histologists and lab personnel. You'll be responsible for maintaining workflow efficiency, enforcing quality and safety standards, coordinating training, and serving as a point of contact between the histology team and laboratory leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced histology professional who enjoys working at the bench while also contributing to team development, process improvement, and operational excellence.
