Digital Technology Technician
Collins Aerospace, Digital Technology, is hiring a DT Technician for our Secure Labs support team. A minimum Collateral Secret is required. Qualified candidates should have a passion for technology and be excited about finding new ways to add value to our business. What You Will Do: You will work with one or more of the following technologies: Virtualization, Servers, Clients, Networking, Storage Backup You will regularly work with other members of the organization as part of a cross functional team You will build strong relationships with customers and peers You will participate in improvement of internal processes (LEAN/ACE/CORE) You will use your technical knowledge and experience to facilitate resolution of service request and restoration tickets. You will assist with the implementation of technical solutions to support the projects you are assigned. Provide support for the Tier1 and Tier2 infrastructure teams. What You Will Learn: You will foster relationships with your DT peers across the domestic US. You will learn how to communicate effectively to Engineering leadership. You will learn how to provide ROI based on project performance. You will learn how to apply your knowledge and personal skills to shape projects that have a loose set of requirements. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Active Collateral Secret Govt. Security Clearance, up to Top Secret. Clearance is preferred. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Experience supporting technology in a professional environment, secure environment experience preferred: Desktop Support, Server Administration, and Virtualization Technologies (VM Ware, etc.) Linux Systems Administration Networking (important) Compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53) Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification (ex. Sec+). Active cert preferred. Qualifications We Prefer: Technology certifications (Systems Administration, Cloud, etc.) Security certifications (Sec+, CISSP, etc.) Govt.
