Assistant District Attorney
The 220 District Attorneys Council is seeking an Assistant District Attorney for DAC District 10 Fin. This is a full-time, regular position with a salary range of $60,000 - $90,000 plus benefits. The position is open until filled and is located in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, which serves Osage and Pawnee Counties. The District 10 District Attorney's Office covers Osage and Pawnee Counties. The vacant Assistant District Attorney position is in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Preference is given to individuals with prosecution experience, but new attorneys with a genuine desire to serve the community are also considered. The job involves the prosecution of all levels of criminal cases, including traffic, juvenile, and special courts (drug/mental health/diversion). Requirements include a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, admission to and good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Association, excellent verbal skills, legal analysis, and legal writing and editing skills, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, and the ability to secure and maintain a favorable background investigation. The work environment is in an area rich with Native American culture, with Pawhuska being a growing tourist destination. The area is known for its outdoor activities and close proximity to Bartlesville and downtown Tulsa. The office is professional, friendly, and hardworking.
