Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? The Customer Support Engineering organization is looking for an IMIS (Integrated Maintenance Information System) Lead for the F119 Program. IMIS is the maintenance system for the whole F-22 program, including the engine, used to management the health, life, maintenance, and operation of the engine. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Lockheed Martin IMIS system at the Pratt & Whitney facility. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for sustaining and maturing the diagnostic and support systems necessary for successful operation of the F119 engine. This includes responsibility for the data flow from the field to the various data systems within Pratt & Whitney used in the Sustainment of the F119 engine fleet as well as the flow of software and data updates to the field. What You Will Do: Perform IMIS Admin duties on a Solaris 10 / Linux based system including user access creation / management, technical support and troubleshooting, hardware management, supply PMAs for use, manage the health of the system Work with Lockheed Martin to schedule and perform hardware and software upgrades of the system Develop IMIS-related requirements with the field and coordinate implementation with Lockheed Martin Support both on-board and off-board software testing and validation both at the Pratt & Whitney and onsite support at Lockheed Martin facility in Fort Worth Support testing of new system support hardware Perform troubleshooting of IMIS hardware and software issues at the Pratt & Whitney facility and support troubleshooting of propulsion related IMIS software issues in the field. Provide technical support to the field for UBL issues, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, data analysis, and coordination with Lockheed Martin IMIS ADMINs on upgrade implementation. Communicate status of issues and solutions to both internal and USAF program management teams, and drive projects to completion. Support overall program financial goals. Off-hours support is expected if field issues arise. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science with 5+ years of relevant experience to include knowledge of Python programming language with the ability to build and modify scripts for parsing files and accessing databases for data input and extraction, knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating systems and experience troubleshooting computer software issues; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of similar relevant experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Having an active U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance. Having a CompTIA Security+ certification F119 Sustainment experience Knowledge of engine systems operation, software development processes, and configuration management. Strong analytical problem-solving skills; and communication skills, including verbal, and technical writing. Ability to engage cross-functional teams, as needed, and knows when/where to get help; as well as working across functions, organizations and management. Ability to execute work independently through complex technical decision-making. Fluent in English (verbal/written).
