Management Analyst - Program Evaluation & Policy Support

to support the DoD in the

Washington, DC

area.

An

active Secret or Top Secret Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award.

The

Management Analyst

provides expert support in evaluating DOD programs, drafting internal policies, and developing executive-level reports and recommendations. Applies a deep understanding of DOD-level missions, organizational structures, and management principles.

Key Responsibilities: Perform analysis and provide advice to management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of branch, division, and directorate programs and operations. Perform analysis on the productivity and/or efficiency of individual organizational programs and projects. Consult with senior leadership on business needs, assisting in translating needs and requirements into analytics and/or reporting requirements. Interface with internal and external customers to ensure successful delivery of requirements. Stay abreast of current industry standards, trends, and innovations in order to apply the latest information analytics and reporting improvements. Advise on work methods, practices, procedures, and support senior leadership in identifying the components of a viable solution. Develop presentations and reports for branch/division leadership. Analyze data and prepare draft analysis of data for customer review. Prepare illustration/graphics support that requires visual display/presentations/aids, including videos and other supporting information. Draft, review, and refine internal policies, SOPs, and administrative guidance. Conduct research and provide analysis on div-level operations and performance. Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements to leadership. Prepare formal reports, white papers, decision memos, and policy documentation. Interface with Government stakeholders to align deliverables with mission needs.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field. 5+ years supporting federal/DoD programs; DOD experience preferred. Experience drafting DoD policy or administrative documents. Familiarity with the DoD Correspondence Manual and governance processes. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project). Advanced skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

Clearance: An active Secret clearance is required. Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check. Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s).
