Acquisition Program/Contract Analyst
Axiom is looking for an Acquisition Program/Contract Analyst to support the DoD in the Washington, DC area. An active Secret or Top Secret Clearance is required to be considered for this position. This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award. The Acquisition Program/Contract Analyst provides comprehensive support for pre-award acquisition activities, including the development of Statements of Work (SOW), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and market research documentation. Supports acquisition strategy planning, source selection documentation, and post-award contract administration. Supports acquisition planning and compliance through preparation and coordination of contracting documents. Ensures packages are complete and compliant with DOD acquisition policies and federal procurement regulations. Key Responsibilities: Draft PWS, SOW, SOOs, and evaluation criteria for DOD acquisition packages. Conduct and document market research, including RFIs and small business capability analyses. Assist in acquisition strategy development, risk analysis, and procurement method selection. Prepare IGCEs based on historical data and market analysis. Support post-award activities including contract modifications, options, and contractor performance tracking. Coordinate with the COR to monitor deliverables, schedules, and resolve performance issues. Prepare and review acquisition documentation packages (e.g., justifications, determinations, RFIs). Assist in developing source selection plans and supporting evaluation panels. Coordinate and track acquisition packages through DOD approval chains. Ensure documentation supports small business participation and meets socio-economic goals. Maintain acquisition logs and trackers to ensure data integrity and transparency. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of DoD acquisition experience; DOD D experience preferred. Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS and the PPBE process. Familiarity with DOD contract documentation and policy standards. Experience with DOD procurement lifecycle support and contracting documentation. Working knowledge of DOD acquisition management tools (e.g., eCMS, PIEE). Familiarity with GSA, GWAC, and interagency contracting methods. Clearance: An active Secret clearance is required. Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check. Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s).
