About the Role:
You will work closely with a top-tier team representing institutional investors in debt financing transactions , including domestic and international private placements . The practice spans corporate finance, project finance, and specialized real estate finance , with an emphasis on credit tenant loans , public-private partnerships , and cross-border financings in regions such as the UK, Western Europe, and Australia .
You'll have the opportunity to work on deals across sectors including:
- Energy, power, pipelines, oil & gas, petrochemicals
- Airports, ports, public housing, and infrastructure
- REITs and real estate projects , including government, healthcare, university, and data center facilities
- Structure, negotiate, and document debt financing transactions , including secured and unsecured loans , subordinated debt , and project financings .
- Advise on institutional private placements and lender protections in project-related agreements .
- Participate in all stages of complex transactions from term sheet through closing and post-closing matters.
- 2-3+ years of experience with corporate finance transactions , preferably including private placements and institutional lending .
- Experience working on cross-border deals and infrastructure or project finance is a plus.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent writing, communication, and negotiation skills are required.
- Must be admitted to practice in Illinois or eligible for immediate admission.
- Salary range: $225,000 - $260,000/year , depending on experience and qualifications.
