Position Overview: In support of the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Securitys (OUSDI(I&S) Sensitive Activities & Special Programs (SASP) Office, we seek candidates with expertise in Security Operations and Sensitive Activities. The selected candidate will support policy development, coordinate briefings, facilitate cross-agency engagements, and develop reports related to counterproliferation efforts involving chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons. Candidates must be comfortable working in fast-paced, high-visibility, and unstructured environments.

Work Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA

Job Responsibilities:
  • Policy Development and Coordination: Support oversight, management, and coordination of complex sensitive programs and activities. Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating policy development related to sensitive activities, providing timely information and decision support for DoD senior leaders.
  • Research and Analysis: Gather, synthesize, and prepare background information and read-ahead materials on issues related to intelligence and intelligence-related policy, programs, and activities supporting special operations, including counterterrorism and irregular warfare.
  • Strategy and Policy Implementation: Support the development, review, and revision of strategy and policy for sensitive activities. Assist in implementing solutions to aid decision-making related to special operations.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Special Operations Forces and/or clandestine operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in policy development and providing recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in high-stakes environments and manage multiple priorities.
