This individual will play a pivotal role in managing monthly project draws, financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, while supporting the companys growth through ongoing systems and process improvements. Qualifications
Must Haves:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting OR an associates degree in accounting with at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Premier Contractor Edition and Microsoft Office 365
- Solid understanding of general ledger functions, journal entries, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of confidentiality and sound judgment in handling sensitive financial matters
Desired Skills & Experience
- Background in construction industry accounting, including job costing and managing monthly project draws
- Experience with CoConstruct or similar project management tools
- Familiarity with systems integration and process improvement initiatives
- A proactive and analytical mindset, comfortable with risk assessment and calculated decision-making
- Ability to communicate persuasively and intuitively, engaging in constructive and courageous conversations
- Proven experience building cross-functional relationships across internal teams and external partners
- Driven, energetic, and thrives in a multitasking environment
