You'll be the first to respond to medical incidents, provide com passionate care, and support emergency situations with professionalism and urgency. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, knowledgeable in emergency response, and committed to delivering excellent guest care. Join us in creating a secure and enjoyable environment where everyone can make lasting memories.What You'll Do:Be a First Responder: Provide immediate medical assistance to guests and team members in need, with confidence and care.Prioritize Safety: Monitor park activity, identify potential health risks, and remain ready to respond to emergencies.Support the Experience: Communicate clearly with security, management, and outside responders to ensure swift and coordinated care.Show Compassion: Offer reassurance and support to individuals in distress while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.Keep Accurate Records: Document incidents and treatments thoroughly and responsibly.What Makes You Stand Out:Current EMT certification and CPR/AED training.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A calm, confident presence during emergencies.A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to guest safety.A passion for helping others and representing Belmont Park's values with integrity.RequirementsPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand/walk (up to 8 hours daily); regularly use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk and hearMust be able to perform major life activities: standing, lifting and bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, pulling and sittingHearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations with or without reasonable accommodationThe employee must frequently lift and or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 poundsSufficient manual dexterity in hands with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to climb stairs and ladders at a rapid pace. Ability to perform duties within extreme temperature ranges with or without reasonable accommodationThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderateConduct night/overnight patrols as scheduled.Skills/Qualifications: Must be 18 years or olderMust have High School diploma or equivalent, or be on track to graduate in current yearMust have a valid CA BSIS Gard Card and up to date training.
