A large public company in the Valley is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will handle fixed assets, prepaids, and depreciation for marketing, IT, and overhead. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems or accounting software
Key Responsibilities
- Review prepaids and maintain schedules
- Record amortization journal entries
- Create accrual schedules
- Record transfer pricing and intercompany transactions
- Support budgeting and forecasting reports
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with annual audits by providing necessary documents and schedules
- Generate ad hoc management reports
- Maintain and improve internal controls
