East West Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager for Entertainment Lending . The primary function will be to assist in financial analysis, underwriting, and loan documentation review. Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements and cash flow projections of entertainment clients, researching distributors, and assisting in loan monitoring and operations such as borrowing base review, advance requests, and loan tracking.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the loan/deposit portfolio for Relationship Managers (RMs).
  2. Cross-sell banking services including deposit, trade, treasury management, foreign exchange, private banking, and asset management to existing clients and prospects.
  3. Review existing credits in collaboration with the team.
  4. Perform administrative duties related to maintaining a client portfolio.
  5. Ensure portfolio administration and risk management comply with EWB credit policies, procedures, business strategy, and regulatory guidelines.
  6. Analyze financial data to evaluate loan requests, recommend structures, and manage client relationships as appropriate to experience.
  7. Maintain credit risk and portfolio quality.
  8. Assist with due diligence and analysis on new client relationships and opportunity memos.
  9. Partner with RMs as the main contact for clients, liaising with credit, support staff, and other internal partners.
  10. Provide advice to clients on market trends and economic conditions.
  11. Monitor loan repayments and financial health of clients, taking action on past due accounts and ongoing repayment capacity.
  12. Possibly assume overall responsibility for the credit quality of the portfolio.
  13. Perform additional duties and projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience in the entertainment industry and general knowledge of entertainment finance is preferred.
  3. At least 5 years of direct entertainment lending underwriting experience with a solid credit and accounting background.
  4. Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  5. Strong underwriting and financial projection skills.
  6. Understanding of credit policies and procedures; ability to accurately risk-rate loans and evaluate cash flow and collateral.
  7. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.


Compensation:

The base salary range is USD $115,000 to $160,000 per year, with actual offers based on experience, skills, and location.
