Known for delivering high-performance solutions, this company supports a wide array of applications including mixing, extraction, filtration, CIP (Clean-in-Place), and sanitary process integration. They ensure efficiency, compliance, and product integrity across various sectors such as dairy and brewing processing.

About the Role:

The Sales Manager role is ideal for technically inclined sales professionals passionate about building customer relationships and driving project-based equipment sales. You will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, supporting clients through technical conversations, and guiding them from initial inquiry to project execution. This position offers a mix of strategic outreach, consultative selling, and collaboration with engineering and estimating teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage customer accounts within processing equipment categories such as extraction, brewery, sanitary vessels, and food-grade systems.
  • Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, and formal sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and estimation teams to develop customized solutions and quotes.
  • Review P&IDs, blueprints, and technical drawings to align project scope with customer needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and technical teams to clarify design specifications and project details.
  • Stay informed on facility infrastructure requirements such as chillers, boilers, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales or capital equipment sales.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical drawings.
  • Understanding of processing plant infrastructure and sanitary design standards.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and related tools.
