Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Property Accounting: Oversee all aspects of property accounting for a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties
- General Ledger & Month-End Close: Manage journal entries, financial statement preparation, and month-end close processes
- Budget & Financial Analysis: Collaborate with leadership on budget planning and performance analysis
- Accounts Payable/Receivable & Reconciliations: Handle AP, AR, and perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Software Utilization: Leverage AppFolio for accounting functions and advanced Excel skills for reporting
Ideal Candidate:
- Property Accounting Experience: At least 2 years of experience with property accounting, including GL, AP, AR, and financial reporting
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in AppFolio or similar property management software, with strong Excel skills
- Detail-Oriented: Organized, with a high level of accuracy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
