Job Summary:
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in guiding the technical direction of key projects that support the organization's strategic goals. Collaborating with product owners and business analysts, you will ensure that our applications are developed to meet high-quality standards and business requirements. Key Responsibilities: Support PathGroup's mission, vision, and management objectives. Engage in all phases of the software lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Provide leadership and mentorship for junior developers. Collaborate with IT Architecture to establish technical standards and best practices. Identify and develop initiatives for process improvements in partnership with IT leaders. Lead large projects and programs, fulfilling individual contributor roles when necessary. Analyze performance data to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and share insights with leadership. Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, story pointing, and retrospectives. Coordinate with stakeholders and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Contribute to enhancing DevOps processes. Ensure alignment with security and regulatory best practices to protect sensitive information.
