HBS Projects General Manager

at Honeywell, you will take full management responsibility for the development and growth of Honeywell Projects' businesses. You will effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders across the organization, working autonomously as a senior member of our leadership team to achieve organizational objectives.

You will report directly to our President BA Americas. In this role, you will impact the growth and success of Honeywell by achieving business objectives, formulating growth strategies, driving innovation, and leading a high-performing team.

YOU MUST HAVE:

10+ years of business management, program management, or project management experience

5+ years of P&L accountability experience

People leadership/management experience

Proven track record in delivering growth and financial performance for an independent line of business

Deep understanding of the construction process & lifecycle

Experience with complex contract negotiations

Experience developing long-range strategic business plans

Experience establishing annual operating plans

WE VALUE:

Bachelor's degree and MBA

Strong product portfolio management skills

Strong analytical capacity to interpret complex qualitative and quantitative data for decision-making

Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and partner in a matrix organization to deliver results

Experience building successful leadership teams and developing top talent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own the regional P&L for the HBS Projects business, delivering revenue, VCM, and operating income targets

Establish efficient processes to enhance operational productivity, cost management, and profitability

Support offering management to define branding and market penetration strategies

Drive the sales team to pursue and secure suitable project opportunities

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; develop plans, schedules, and budgets; manage resources

Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration

Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors, managing expectations proactively

Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; monitor project progress and take corrective actions

Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability

Implement quality control measures to meet standards and specifications

Ensure proper documentation and conduct post-project reviews
