HBS Projects General Manager

As the HBS Projects General Manager here at Honeywell, you will take full management responsibility for the development and growth of Honeywell Projects' businesses. You will effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders across the organization, working autonomously as a senior member of our leadership team to achieve organizational objectives. You will report directly to our President BA Americas and in this role, you will impact the growth and success of Honeywell by achieving business objectives, formulating growth strategies, driving innovation, and leading a high-performing team. Key responsibilities include owning the regional P&L for the HBS Projects business and delivering on top-line revenue, VCM and operating income. You will also focus on building a robust management operating system, supporting offering management, driving the sales organization, defining project scope, leading and motivating project teams, building and maintaining strong relationships, identifying potential risks, tracking project costs, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring proper project documentation. You must have 10+ years of business management, program management or project management experience, 5+ years of P&L accountability experience, people leadership/management experience, a proven track record in delivering growth and financial performance for an independent line of business, deep understanding of the construction process & lifecycle, experience with complex contract negotiations, experience developing long-range strategic business plans, and experience establishing annual operating plans. We value a bachelor's degree and MBA, strong product portfolio management skills, strong intellectual capacity to assimilate and analyze complex qualitative and quantitative data for making solid business decisions, demonstrated experience to influence, negotiate and partner in a matrix organization and to deliver results through matrix reports, and extensive experience in building successful leadership teams and developing and retaining A-level talent.
