Head of Finance

About the Company We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead all financial functions for a national environmental services platform headquartered in Dallas, TX. This role will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, responsible for driving financial performance, supporting acquisitive growth, and scaling the finance organization to support rapid expansion. About the Role Key Responsibilities: Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the enterprise Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to inform executive decision-making Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, audit, and internal controls across multiple entities Drive strategic finance initiatives related to M&A, pricing optimization, and cost efficiency Support capital markets activities including debt refinancing, lender relations, and board reporting Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team with scalable systems and processes Lead post-acquisition financial integration and alignment across acquired entities Partner cross-functionally with operations, legal, HR, and IT to ensure alignment of financial goals Qualifications 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role Prior experience in multi-site, distributed service, or route-based businesses (e.g., environmental services, waste, logistics, facilities, or field services) Experience leading financial integration during M&A and driving operational synergies Strong fluency in financial systems, modeling, and reporting tools (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive, Tableau) CPA and/or MBA preferred Experience in private equity-backed businesses highly preferred Hands-on, detail-oriented leader with ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels Strong communicator who can engage with board members, investors, lenders, and operating teams
