As the Executive Director of Budget and Accounting, you will report to the Financial Services Officer, be a part of the Finance Department, and serve as a district leader in financial stewardship.
You will help lead the Budget and Accounting departments' transformational work to deliver on the promises outlined in

as well as our long-term, city-wide North Star,
Vision 2025 . Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent/HFO or designee, the Executive Director will: Plan, develop, organize, control, and direct District financial activities including budget, accounting, finance, cash flow analysis, and investment of surplus funds. Assist with the team in the preparation of budget adoption, Interim Reports, Fiscal Close, and Audit. May assist in the preparation of specifications and advertising for bids. Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel as related to District policies and procedures. Assist the Financial Services Officer as directed. Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S) from an accredited college or university; advanced degree preferred. Five (5) years of professional-level experience, preferably in a large, urban school district, or human resources department, or other educational setting.
