Job Description About the Role As a Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the total omni customer experience in your store, ensuring high visual and commercial standards aligned with store format, global, and regional strategies. You will lead the full store team to excel, fostering an inclusive culture that promotes collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit. You will analyze sales data, follow up on results, and create plans to optimize performance and profits. A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but typical responsibilities include: Managing the total omni customer experience, including visual and commercial presentation Representing the brand positively during customer interactions Setting and analyzing sales and budget goals, creating plans to meet targets Providing excellent personal customer service and guiding customers through fashion stories Promoting the Customer Loyalty App and sustainability initiatives Scheduling staff in line with sales budgets and activities Ensuring proper routines in fitting rooms and checkout areas Identifying commercial opportunities and maintaining competitor awareness Managing store maintenance cost-effectively Handling administrative routines for people and operations Fashion & Trend Awareness Staying updated on fashion trends, styles, brands, and competitors Ensuring the team provides product and fashion knowledge to customers Understanding local customer preferences and fashion trends Team & Development Managing talent acquisition, onboarding, upskilling, and development Conducting performance evaluations and succession planning Sharing knowledge and fostering team collaboration Communicating effectively with the team Planning and scheduling staff Maintaining procedures, routines, and legal compliance Participating in onboarding, training, and development programs Retail Operations & Visual Execution Maintaining a clean and organized store environment Ensuring high-quality visual presentation and garment care Managing stock levels and supporting allocation decisions Overseeing daily store routines, including opening and closing Managing the full garment cycle and fitting room routines Utilizing in-store technology and services effectively Maintaining price signs and store signage according to guidelines Keeping BOH areas organized and compliant Qualifications Who You Are Strong leadership skills with a responsibility-driven approach Experience in team coaching and development Ambitious, effective communicator, and analytical thinker Relevant leadership experience in retail management Experience working closely with a team Why You’ll Love Working at H&M Valuing diversity and inclusion Access to community and networking through CRGs Inclusive culture encouraging authenticity Global talent community with growth opportunities Comprehensive wellbeing benefits and employee discounts Additional Information Compensation: expected base salary range is $68,343-$79,620 annually.
