Job Description:
Sentara Health is seeking a qualified individual to join as Director, Managed Care Contracting. This role is based in Hampton Roads with a hybrid schedule, working hours from 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).
The Director develops, negotiates, and executes managed care contracting strategies with third-party payors, partnering with divisional executives to maximize contract reimbursements and operational efficiencies. Responsibilities include managing relationships with payors, serving as the key liaison, and leading the development and execution of Sentara's managed care strategy to support organizational goals. The role involves collaboration with senior management, department administrators, physicians, and service lines to meet strategic objectives.
Required:
Managed Care Contracting experience.
