Director Managed Care Contracting.
The Director Managed Care Contracting develops, negotiate and executes and executes 3rd party payor managed care contracting strategies and activities on behalf of Sentara Healthcare's provider divisions. Partners with divisional executives to maximize contract reimbursement and efficiencies from 3rd party payors. Responsible for managing relationships for a portfolio of 3rd party payor contracts and serves as the key liaison between these payors and Sentara Healthcare. Provides leadership in the development and execution of Sentara's managed care strategy to support SHC mission and goals. Works in conjunction with VP/Chief Managed Care Officer to develop strong interdepartmental working relationships with senior management, department administrators, physicians, etc. regarding managed care strategy, contracting and operational issues. Works with service lines to facilitate program development to meet strategic objectives relative to managed care contracting.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree. Managed Care Contracting experience. Masters degree preferred
