Machine Learning Engineer 2
PayPal, Inc. seeks a Machine Learning Engineer 2 in New York, NY. Job duties include designing, developing, implementing, deploying, and monitoring predictive models using machine learning techniques, including neural networks and tree-based models. Work with large volumes of data, including extracting insights and manipulating big data covering a wide range of information. Collaborate with other ML scientists and engineers to formulate innovative solutions, experiment, and implement advanced ML techniques to solve business problems. Clearly and effectively communicate complex concepts, analysis insights, and modeling results through creative visualization to stakeholders of varying technical levels. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance. Minimum requirements include a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, or a closely related field. Special skill requirements include: Experience with programming languages such as Python Experience with machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn Experience with data manipulation and analysis using tools like Pandas, NumPy, or SQL (BigQuery/Hive/Spark) Proficiency in machine learning concepts, algorithms, and techniques, with hands-on experience in developing machine learning models Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, data augmentation, and model evaluation techniques EOE, including disability/vets. Salary: $129,000-$174,500 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
