Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, this position will be responsible for various areas relating to month-end closing, ensuring that the financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States (U.S. GAAP) and SEC Regulations. Key Job Elements include: Conduct general ledger account reconciliations including verification of proper classification, cut-off, accuracy, and completeness and preparing journal entries Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and meet internal deadlines Assist in providing schedules and information needed for financial reporting and internal/external audit Follow the Companys established accounting processes and internal controls Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience: Bachelors Degree with major in Accounting 2+ years of experience in Big 4 or publicly traded company Experience with NetSuite is a plus CPA in progress or CPA license is a plus Skills: Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word Knowledge of U.S. GAAP Experience in preparation and analysis of financial data Abilities: Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Effective planning and organizational skills; be results-oriented; and possess the ability to competently manage multiple priorities Commitment to excellent customer service and positive teamwork Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure Supervisor Responsibilities: None Reports To: Assistant Controller Fulgent Therapeutics LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
