Product Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a versatile professional who can blend Quality Assurance (QA) and Training Documentation responsibilities to support our professional services team. Job Summary: Product Assurance Analyst (QA) will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and usability of our software products. This individual will be responsible for testing, analyzing business requirements, and creating user-friendly training documentation. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. Key Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and document test cases, test plans, SQL scripts, and scenarios to ensure software applications function according to user requirements. Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine software functionality, recommend improvements, and complete additional testing. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and testing processes. Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Support the development team by clarifying requirements, assisting in prioritization, and validating that solutions meet business needs through user acceptance testing (UAT). Maintain thorough documentation of testing processes, including application evaluations, testing methods, and implemented improvements. Training Documentation Responsibilities: Organize and assist with creating and maintaining user guides, training materials, and FAQs for internal and external users. Develop step-by-step instructional content and video tutorials as needed. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is up to date with software changes. Required Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in a QA or technical writing role. Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and analyzing data. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Experience with QA tools (JIRA, Selenium, TestRail, etc.). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation. Strong collaboration and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or related field or relevant work experience. Experience in the SaaS or enterprise software industry. Familiarity with automation testing frameworks. Prior experience conducting user training or instructional design.
