New Start Coordinator
This role supports the Proactive Health Office by facilitating the collaboration and integration of new projects and programs. Support the Front Office guidance, communication, processes and policies for all New Start programs. Assist Program Managers (PM) and SETA staff with adherence to project timelines, monitor progress and deliverables, and identify any challenges. Communicate program status, challenges, and milestones in collaboration with the PM and SETA team to mission office leadership. Coordinate through regular meetings, briefings, and feedback sessions with program teams ensuring all team members are aligned with mission office goals and timelines. Other duties as assigned to assist mission office leadership in scientific, business, and organizational management. Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle a wide variety of tasks, including briefing support and general administration. Developing project schedules and timelines. Strong professional writing skills with an ability to prepare effective documentation including presentation slides. Must have initiative, be detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking in a high-pressure environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and support diverse teams. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business, management or technical field. 3+ years of experience in project management, research management, or related fields. Experience with the program approval process. Experience with program start-up activities. Prior experience in supporting leadership. Experience in a research and development, government or research agency. Knowledge of health research and innovation processes. Familiarity with ARPA-H's mission and objectives.
