The Operations Coordinator is a critical in-office role, requiring daily presence at our headquarters to ensure seamless coordination between our sales and trucking operations. This position is essential to managing the day-to-day logistics of our 70-truck fleet, dispatching drivers, and supporting our sales team to align with customer needs. As we navigate a major increase in sales, the Operations Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining efficiency, managing schedules, and supporting the hiring of new drivers to meet growing demand. This fast-paced position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-energy environment. Responsibilities

Dispatching and Coordination : Oversee the dispatching of 70 truck drivers, ensuring timely and efficient pickup and delivery schedules across multiple states. Driver Scheduling : Create and manage driver schedules, optimizing routes to maximize efficiency while ensuring compliance with hours-of-service regulations and customer requirements. Sales Support : Collaborate closely with the sales team to align trucking operations with customer expectations, facilitating communication to ensure seamless service delivery. Driver Recruitment Support : Assist in the hiring process for new drivers, including coordinating interviews, managing onboarding paperwork, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. Paperwork Management : Handle and organize operational documentation, including delivery confirmations, driver logs, permits, and compliance records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Customer Communication : Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction with delivery services. Operational Efficiency : Monitor fleet operations, track performance metrics, and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs. Issue Resolution: Address and troubleshoot operational challenges, such as delays or equipment issues, to maintain smooth operations and meet delivery deadlines. Compliance and Safety : Ensure all dispatching and driver activities adhere to federal and state transportation regulations, including oversize/overweight permits when necessary. Team Collaboration : Work closely with operations managers, sales staff, and maintenance teams to ensure a cohesive approach to meeting business objectives. Qualifications

Experience : Prior experience in logistics, dispatching, or operations coordination is preferred but not required. Candidates from any background with strong organizational and communication skills are encouraged to apply, as this is an asset-based operation open to diverse experiences. Skills : Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact with drivers, customers, and internal teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with transportation management systems or load board software is a plus. Adaptability : Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make quick decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities driven by increased sales demands. Team Player : Collaborative mindset with the ability to build rapport with drivers, sales teams, and customers. Availability : Must be able to work in-office every day at our headquarters, with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, and occasional availability for after-hours support as needed. Knowledge : Familiarity with federal and state transportation regulations (e.g., DOT compliance) is advantageous but not required, as training will be provided. Compensation

The Operations Coordinator position offers a competitive salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
