The Clinical Practice Manager works under limited supervision to oversee all aspects of surgical and/or clinical operations, including capital equipment budgets and collaboration with Medical Directors at affiliated hospitals. This role involves managing several sub-specialty clinics and supervising staff responsible for clinical optimization, growth, performance, and financial outcomes. Preferred: Experience in oncology nursing and leadership. Experience and Education
Required: Education: Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: 3 years of effective leadership experience in a healthcare environment within a large and complex organization
Job Duties
Supervise all clinic staff in accordance with HR policies and procedures
Oversee optimization, growth, performance, and financial results of regional clinical centers
Lead strategic and fiscal planning, management, and accounting for Ambulatory Services
Foster collaborative relationships between staff and faculty, promoting a positive work environment
Ensure faculty fulfill responsibilities in patient care, teaching, and research, while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
Measure, report, and improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
Evaluate and recommend technology upgrades for clinical specialties (e.g., oncology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, cardiology, primary care)
Conduct skill development activities for staff in budgeting, revenue cycle, managed care, and personnel management
Provide training on fee schedules, managed care contracting, scheduling, coding, billing, collections, and reporting
Develop continuing education programs tailored to individual practice needs
Optimize leases, equipment purchases, maintenance, and vendor contracts
Establish systems for purchasing and maintaining office and medical supplies
Ensure HIPAA compliance and billing integrity; assist with integration of systems and regulatory compliance
Establish internal controls and coordinate with legal and compliance experts as needed
Maintain professional affiliations to stay current with healthcare trends and ambulatory care delivery
Coordinate call schedules as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
