Fundraising And Donor Relations
Schedule/Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday This position is responsible for: Plans, develops, implements, oversees, and evaluates all private foundation and government fundraising activities across Area Command based on a formalized fund development program. Assists in strengthening relationships with foundation representatives to increase engagement and assess potential giving opportunities. Works closely with programs team and Grants and Contracts Specialists to develop relationships with government entities to secure government funding. Works closely with Grants Writer to strengthen relationships and steward gifts and oversees the preparation of proposals and applications. Work with immediate supervisor or Area Command Officers to support campaign fundraising. Expect to manage a portfolio of $3M in government and foundation giving Expect to manage current grants and identify new grant opportunities Key Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibilities (25%) Strategic Planning and Evaluation Responsibilities (25%) Cultivation, Solicitation, and Stewardship of Foundation Representatives and Government Entities (50%) Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to travel to various locations in order to participate in meetings, institutional events, etc. Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) frequently. Work may be performed in an office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt and the like but not limited to the office environment.
