Project Manager
Axiom is looking for a Project Manager to support the DoD in the Washington, DC area. An active Secret or Top Secret Clearance is required to be considered for this position. This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award. The Project Manager is responsible for managing specific task orders under a DoD IDIQ contract. Working closely with the Program Manager and Government stakeholders, the Project Manager ensures project-level execution is aligned with contract requirements, technical objectives, and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned task orders. Lead day-to-day operations and collaborate with technical and administrative teams. Track project milestones, schedules, risks, and resource requirements. Prepare project-specific documentation, reports, and briefings in support of task order objectives. Work with the Government and internal teams to define technical and administrative project priorities. Monitor technical progress, support risk identification/mitigation, and ensure alignment with task order performance metrics. Assist in the development of strategic and technical recommendations to support program goals. Support compliance with DoD regulations, policies, and reporting procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably supporting DoD or federal programs. Experience working within IDIQ environments and with cross-functional teams. Active Secret Clearance required. PMP certification or equivalent preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Understanding of DoD acquisition lifecycle and compliance requirements. Clearance: An active Secret or Top Secret is required. Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check. Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s).
