About PSMC: Pagosa Springs Medical Center has an attractive facility in a scenic town. PSMC is an independent, patient-centered facility, which opened its doors in 2008. The medical center operates both a hospital and an outpatient rural health clinic. PSMC is licensed for 11 inpatient beds and has board certified physicians caring for patients via our level IV trauma center. PSMC offers a range of specialty services including orthopedics, general surgery, pulmonology, oncology, infusion cardiology, and neurology. PSMC has an on-site lab and diagnostic imaging including MRI, CT, ultrasound, x-ray, and mammography together with an on-site radiologist and access to Colorado's largest team of tele-radiologists. Our outpatient clinic is attached to the hospital and has 32 exam rooms for primary care services, behavioral health, and our specialty clinic services. Our Medical Wellness Building offers physical therapy and pain management. PSMC offers a 24/7 emergency department, EMS/ambulance, and inpatient ward. Full-Time Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse
to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized care to patients undergoing oncology treatments, ensuring the safe and effective administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies. Your responsibilities will include performing patient assessments, monitoring for treatment side effects, managing infusion equipment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate medical records. As a crucial member of our oncology care team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver expert and empathetic care. Position Overview: The Oncology Infusion RN is responsible for outpatient infusions services including chemotherapy. Must be proficient in IV insertions for all age groups, PICC line and Port-a-Cath management, Phlebotomy, blood transfusions, performing nursing H&P/assessment, communication with ordering physicians and staff, etc. Responsible for patient education such as injections and all aspects of IV infusion therapy for all adult disease processes. Base Compensation Range:
$33.25 - $51.40 hourly, based on years of relevant experience ranging from 0 to 22 years of experience. Starting Work Bonus:
Applicants are eligible for a starting work bonus of $5,000! Must be hired into a full-time position. Part-time or PRN positions are not eligible. Benefits:

High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited RN program. BSN, desired but not required. Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field.
Special Skills, Licenses or Certifications:
Current Colorado licensure as RN, in good standing. Current AHA BLS certification for healthcare providers required. Current ACLS certification or attendance and successful completion at next available course (within 3 months). ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Biotherapy required if administering chemotherapy. Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, electronic health record). Language Skills:
Demonstrates ability to read, write, and clearly express one's self in English 100% of the time. Additional languages preferred. Demonstrates ability to listen. Demonstrates ability to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken work, to impart oral information to others or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a hospital setting with exposure to work stress, environmental stress and frequent interruptions; noise level is moderate; frequent daily communications with patients, employees, vendors and/or the public. This position IS responsible for supervising other personnel, including involvement in supervision of the performance of the LPN, MA and providing input for annual performance reviews.
