Logistics Engineer, F-35 - Level 3
Join the cutting-edge F-35 Supply Operations team as a Logistics Engineer, where you'll play a vital role in shaping the sustainment and readiness of the world's most advanced fighter aircraft. In this role, you'll support critical provisioning efforts, data migrations, and logistics analyses, all within a high-impact defense environment. We're looking for a driven professional ready to apply deep technical standards knowledge, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help build the next generation of supportability for the F-35. Key Responsibilities: Work independently within a Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) acquisition framework. Use your knowledge of MIL-STD-1388 and GEIA-STD-0007B standards to support the migration and development of provisioning data within SLICwave and ISS systems. Conduct provisioning analyses (e.g., SPIR, Parts Precedence J0820s, QEC) to influence aircraft design, modifications, and maintenance planning. Coordinate and perform supportability analyses across air vehicle systems, support equipment, and training devices-considering accessibility, functionality, commonality, and interchangeability. Apply systems engineering and logistics integration best practices throughout the support lifecycle in accordance with DoD 5000 series and MIL standards. Interpret and apply SM&R and Maintenance Task Codes to provisioning data, ensuring alignment with sustainment strategies. Support provisioning development within validated LSAR databases using GEIA, MIL-STD-1388-2B, or DEF-STAN 00-60 standards. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain accurate, mission-critical logistics data and documentation. Who You Are: You're an experienced logistics or provisioning engineer with a strong foundation in military or GEIA logistics standards. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree with 1 year related experience or 5 years related experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree Experience with Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Items Analysis, etc. Experience with ISS, SLICwave, or similar Logistics Products Experience using MS Office Suite Software including Access, Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint. Access and Excel will be used daily. Desired Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented Provisioning process knowledge or experience LMI/LSAR data table population Knowledge of bill of material management Experience with any Military or commercial standards Microsoft Access knowledge Microsoft Excel Knowledge Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
