Per Diem Neonatologists Needed In Dayton, OH
We are looking for per diem Neonatologists to join our team at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join an established and cohesive group. Responsibilities
As part of the Southwest Ohio practice, Miami Valley collaborates with Dayton Childrens Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Miami Valley Hospital serves a pediatric population of 1.4 million encompassing a 17 county referral area for perinatal cases. Responsibilities include: Coverage of a 60-bed Level-IIIB NICU Average daily census is 42 patients There are 4,000 deliveries annually and 950 NICU admissions annually Readily available subspecialty support Flexible schedule provides work/life balance Call from home or in-house call room available to allow for either local or remote living opportunities Affiliated with Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine with residents and medical students Dayton is among U.S. News and World Report's 2019 "Best Places to Live" and ranks number 13 on Niche.com's 2020 list for "Cities with the Lowest Cost of Living in America." The Dayton area has a host of leisure activities, culturally rich museums and visual art centers, and the Schuster Performing Arts Center. The United States Air Force Museum features a fascinating collection of both modern and old-fashioned flight apparatus. Qualifications
Board Certified Neonatologist A minimum of 1 year post-fellowship clinical experience required OH Active License or Ability to Apply Ongoing Per Diem availability, preferred Benefits and Compensation
Pediatrix does cover travel expenses for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. We also cover malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position. Our benefits include: Employee Assistance PTO: Per diem team members are not eligible for PTO Holidays: Per Diem team members are not eligible for company holidays. Other compensation: Per Diem team members are not eligible for other compensation.
