P.E. Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Location: Jacksonville, FL, 32250 Schedule: MondayFriday, ~ 7:00 AM3:30 PM Salary Range: Based on experience, up to ~ $180,000 base salary (including a potential relocation/sign-on bonus of up to $15,000) Are you an experienced and licensed P.E. Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer looking for your next challenge? Join a dynamic, client-focused industrial engineering team specializing in projects within the pulp & paper industry. This is a full-time, on-site role with occasional day trips to job sites. Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design (35%)

Perform fieldwork to inspect and verify plant conditions Develop electrical designs, including sketches, layouts, and calculations for motors, instruments, and controls Design loop sheets, elementary diagrams, system architecture, and wiring diagrams Conduct Arc Flash studies and provide design recommendations Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver cost-effective solutions Project Management (50%) / Business Development (15%)

Serve as the face of the East Coast electrical group, building and maintaining client relationships Lead scope development efforts by interfacing with clients and coordinating with designers and engineers Develop and manage bid packages, evaluate bids, and oversee procurement and construction Ensure project safety, timing, and quality, from scope development to startup activities Lead the preparation and issuance of all project documentation to clients Drive business development by identifying opportunities and ensuring reliability and efficiency in solutions provided Required Qualifications:

Engineering degree (Electrical preferred) Active PE License CAD proficiency Minimum 5 years of experience with Electrical Process & Instrumentation Diagrams for industrial projects Experience in loop sheets, wiring diagrams, flow meters, and control symbols Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with the team Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the pulp & paper industry is a plus Familiarity with Motor Control Centers (MCC) and control panel I/O assessment Additional Details

Relocation/Sign-On Bonus: Up to ~ $15,000 Travel: Occasional day trips to job sites Overtime: May be required Work Environment: Office-based with periodic site visits Benefits
