We have an immediate need for a Chemical Engineer / Process Engineer to join an innovative and growing engineering firm specializing in industrial plant design and process optimization. This role offers hands-on project involvement in industrial chemical processing facilities, working on phosphate, fertilizer, and other heavy industrial projects. About the Role: Design and analyze chemical process systems, including mass/energy balances, PFDs, and P&IDs Perform equipment sizing and specification for pumps, heat exchangers, valves, reactors, and separation units Conduct PRV/PSV sizing, heat exchanger modeling, and control valve selection Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, piping, electrical, structural, instrumentation & controls) Support project execution, including field data collection, process troubleshooting, and construction oversight Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and front-end-loading (FEL) studies What You Bring: Degree: B.S. in Chemical Engineering (Required) Experience: 5+ years in industrial chemical process design Technical Expertise: Pipe flow modeling, PRV/PSV sizing, heat exchanger modeling, process optimization Software Proficiency: AutoCAD (Plant 3D a plus) Certifications: PE or EI preferred but not required Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to work on multiple projects Why Join Us?
