Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designer

Selectek has an immediate need for an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designer in the Mobile, AL area. This position will start as work from home with the ability to report to a local office in the Mobile or Dothan, AL area, as needed. Job description: Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Design for Industrial Projects Construction support Checkout/startup support Troubleshooting Cable schedules Instrument datasheets and Indexes Contribute on projects from the preliminary stage through startup Work closely with clients Lead, mentor and work with junior engineers, designers and draftsmen Required: AutoCAD Proficiency 5+ years of experience doing Electrical Process & Instrumentation Diagrams for industrial projects Experience with loop sheets, wiring diagrams, flow meters, controls symbols Preferred: Pulp & Paper Industry experience Job order details: Will be working on industrial design projects, mainly pulp & paper industry projects. Person should understand how to walk in a Motor Controls Center room and understand how much Input/Output is available in the control panels. Sponsorship: No Pay range: $35/hour - $56/hour Term of assignment: 6 months contract to direct OR direct hire Pay method when direct: Salary $85,000-$116,500 + Straight time hourly for any hours worked over 40.
