Lead Behavioral Health Technician Opportunity
For nearly 60 years, Calvary Healing Center has provided a full continuum of care, specializing in addiction treatment for adults across the Phoenix area and nationwide. Calvary's proven treatment programs address the practical, physical, and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers onsite detoxification and residential treatment programs, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). We also have a satellite clinic offering Intensive Outpatient Programs in the West Valley region. Through our programs we offer many other holistic healing and treatment options complementing our services ranging from yoga, art workshops, and music. General Purpose of Job: The Lead Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) functions as an active and integral part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. The Lead BHT works under the direction of the Milieu Manager, Director of Nursing (DON), RN Charge, while providing support along with guidance to the BHTs. Qualifications Lead BHT Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required Bachelors or Associates Degree in Psych or related field preferred. Must be 21 years of age A minimum of 2 years experience as a BHT preferred Completion of BLS & FA Certification and Verbal De-Escalation Training, within 30 days of employment. Must agree to a Motor Vehicle Driving Record check as part of the background check process and that record must be in good standing.
