Senior ITSM Specialist
Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior ITSM Specialist to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida. Responsibilities include: Leading the development and management of IT Service Management (ITSM) strategies, processes, and frameworks to drive efficient service delivery and alignment with mission objectives Designing, optimizing, and integrating ITSM processes across the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE), fostering operational excellence and interoperability Creating and maintaining comprehensive ITSM processes, integrating best practices and ensuring seamless interoperability across the EIE Overseeing the design and execution of IT service delivery processes, including incident, problem, change, and configuration management Collaborating with stakeholders to integrate ITSM processes with broader IT and business strategies Developing and maintaining an accurate service catalog, reflecting current IT capabilities and supporting lifecycle management Documenting and managing the IT current environment record to facilitate effective service management and decision-making Identifying and addressing inefficiencies in ITSM processes, reducing technical debt and enhancing service delivery Leveraging data-driven insights to refine ITSM practices and improve mission effectiveness Required qualifications include: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field 10+ years of experience in ITSM roles supporting large-scale or DoD IT environments Extensive experience with ServiceNow in administrative or configuration role In-depth knowledge of ITIL frameworks, including implementation and lifecycle management Experience developing process documentation, workflows, and training materials Familiarity with DoD IT environments and service delivery standards Strong communication and analytical skills Desired qualifications include: Masters degree in related field ITIL v4 Foundation (required or must obtain within 90 days) ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Implementation Specialist Certifications in other ITSM platforms Experience supporting DoD environments Familiarity with DevSecOps, Agile, and Lean IT frameworks Knowledge of configuration Management, Asset Management, and CMDB governance Experience integrating ITSM with monitoring and orchestration tools Clearance and certification required: Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role CompTIA Security+ CE Location: Doral, Florida About Tyto Athene: Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position.
