The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialized pathology laboratory setting. Key Responsibilities: - Receiving specimens from surgical procedures and accessioning specimens into Cerner.- Collecting blocks from Pathology Assistants.- Processing tissues, embedding, cutting, and staining of slides.- Working proficiently with pathology, cytology, and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Qualifications: - Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program or an Associate's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.- Certification by ASCP (HT/HLT) is required.- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
