Lake Forest Place is seeking a certified Personal Trainer to inspire and support our residents in achieving their fitness goals. You'll work hands-on with older adults, offering personalized assessments, developing custom programs, and fostering wellness through expert guidance and care. Perform senior fitness tests and physical assessments for residents

Develop and implement personalized training plans using HUR software

Orient residents and staff on safe and effective use of fitness equipment

Lead group fitness classes as assigned

Monitor participant progress and consult supervisor about any health or physical condition changes

Assist in organizing wellness events, classes, and educational presentations

Keep supervisor informed of special concerns or circumstances

Accurately document sessions and use all required software and tools (e.g., Balance Gym)

Model Presbyterian Homes' Hospitality Promises in all interactions

Perform additional duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications:

Personal Training Certification from AFAA, ACE, NASM, or ACSM (required)

Group Exercise Certification (preferred)

CPR-AED certification (required)

At least 2 years of experience in personal training, specifically with older adults

Familiarity with fitness and assessment software; must be comfortable learning new systems

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
