As a Forklift Operator/Driver you are responsible for: Moving parts to production when requested by a material request form under the direction of the warehouse manager. The warehouse manager will hand you the Material Transfer Requests and then you will find the material in the Warehouse to take it to production drop off location with a Forklift. Sorting pallets and clearing the receiving dock. Ensuring materials are moved into the open racks. Adhering to forklift safety procedures. Ensure all safety rules are followed. About You
The ideal candidate will have: 1 Year or more experience working in a manufacturing environment as a Forklift Operator. A great understanding of Safety Compliance. Comfort working around Industrial Machinery. What You Will Do
Perform housekeeping duties in the Warehouse area when not operating a transfer or put away with the forklift. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs. Climb stairs/rail ladders regularly and work at elevated heights if directed to with safety in mind. Work in an industrial environment that is humid, and noisy at times. Work around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances. Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing required PPE. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
At least six (6) months of continuous employment At least six (6) months of experience operating a forklift
