Senior Leadership Position
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Growth & Clinical Development Lead the development and execution of clinical initiatives aligned with organizational growth goals. Collaborate with physician leadership to identify and implement new clinical programs. Participate in strategic planning sessions and integration of new sites or services. Evaluate performance metrics to support decision-making. Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Oversight Provide executive-level oversight of ASC nursing operations. Coordinate closely with the ASC Director and OR team. Monitor surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Lead accreditation efforts and ensure compliance. Clinical Operations & Standardization Oversee daily nursing operations across all practice locations. Standardize clinical protocols and documentation practices. Lead cross-functional clinical leadership meetings. Staff Leadership & Development Manage and mentor nursing leadership team. Lead workforce planning and recruitment strategies. Implement training, credentialing, and performance evaluation systems. Quality, Safety & Compliance Direct quality improvement programs and safety initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards. Analyze quality metrics and drive performance improvements. Patient Experience & Engagement Champion initiatives to improve the patient journey. Use patient feedback to inform operational and clinical improvements. Partner with leaders to resolve patient concerns. Technology & Innovation Collaborate with IT on EMR optimization and digital health tools. Support the expansion of telehealth and patient engagement platforms. Additional Responsibilities Supports, plans, directs, and evaluates activities of Nurse Managers. Establishes and monitors budgets and ensures appropriate staffing. Works collaboratively to ensure clear objectives are set and achieved. Supports and encourages staff development for co-workers. Advocates for the AMP Mission, Vision, and Values. Creates and maintains momentum for change. Develops and oversees strategies for optimal service excellence. Identifies and establishes effective communication processes. Meets regularly with key departments to maintain communication. Development, roll-out, monitoring, and maintenance of clinical pathways. Maintains an active role in the Advanced Therapeutics Department. Oversight and redevelopment of an OSHA program. Oversight and development of standards for employee health. Ongoing collaboration with the Medical Director for infection control. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge Must possess the knowledge necessary to achieve goals to provide care and services. Skills High-level experience and professional leadership skills in various areas. Identifies issues within labor contracts and partners with HR to overcome barriers. Able to manage and optimize patient care. Must adapt to changing work priorities and balance requirements. Must effectively analyze, communicate, and respond. Must be capable of having crucial conversations. Abilities Must make independent judgments and decisions. Has the ability to handle interpersonal challenges. Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Doctor of Nursing Practice or MBA preferred. Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse license in practicing state (multi-state license preferred). Experience:
710+ years of progressive leadership in outpatient surgical or multi-site specialty care; direct experience managing or overseeing Ambulatory Surgery Center operations; demonstrated success in clinical program development and strategic growth initiatives. Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills; deep understanding of outpatient care models, surgical workflows, and regulatory standards; proficiency in EMR systems and healthcare analytics tools. Work Environment: Combination of office-based executive leadership and clinical site visits. Frequent interaction with physicians, clinical staff, administrators, and patients. Travel to satellite offices and ASC required on a regular basis. Summary:
