Payroll Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate processing of payroll and related financial functions while utilizing various accounting software systems. This position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. Responsibilities: Process payroll transactions using accounting software systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Verify and audit payroll data for compliance with internal policies and government regulations. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues. Manage accounts payable and benefit functions with precision and attention to detail. Utilize systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce to support payroll operations. Maintain up-to-date records of employee information and payroll adjustments. Assist with auditing payroll processes to identify and correct errors. Support month-end reporting and reconciliation tasks related to payroll. Provide excellent customer service to employees with payroll inquiries. Contribute to process improvements and system optimizations for payroll workflows. Requirements: Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian. Solid experience in payroll processing and auditing practices. Knowledge of accounts payable and benefit functions. Familiarity with systems such as Dayforce and About Time. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Understanding of payroll compliance and regulations.
