This vacancy is located in the Claiborne Parish Economic Stability (ES) office in Homer, LA. This Economic Stability Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the overall operations and programmatic functions of the Economic Stability -- Family Assistance Unit in Claiborne Parish's ES office. Minimum Qualifications
Six years of economic stability social services experience; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR A bachelor's degree plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR An advanced degree in a social sciences field, business, public, or health administration plus two years of economic stability social services experience. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Specification

Supervise Social Service Analysts, clerical staff including Student/Older/WAE workers in a specified unit to include, but are not limited to training of staff, staff dispute resolution, client dispute resolution, approval of leave, performance evaluation system, and other similar duties. Assumes lead responsibility for the resolution of disputes, complaints, and other conflicts related to an individual's participation in their assigned program. Interviews complainants and investigates for resolution. Reviews subordinate work and cases for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in determining eligibility for SNAP, Family Independence Temporary Assistance, Kinship Care Assistance, and STEP program benefits. Assures the accurate update and maintenance of data by subordinate staff on the LITE and OnBase Systems. Assures appropriate clearances and research has been performed by subordinate staff to identify, analyze, and assess verification, documentation, or case related information within five (5) additional automated systems-LWC, Pentaho, Power DMS, INMAR, and LINKS. Based on the outcome of the reviews, identify error trends, develop and implement corrective action plans, and design individualized training when and where appropriate.
