How would you contribute?

This role is a contributing member of our Airlite - KODIAKOOLER team, located in Statesville NC, As an Inside Sales Manager you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. This role is responsible fo r

serving as the first point of customer contact for the business. This includes receiving information for customer inquiries received via the company website, email, phone and through the sales team and responding appropriately. This role will also qualify customer leads and pursue inside sales opportunities for the team.

Essential Duties:

Manage the inside sales function for the business and serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries. Manage assigned sales accounts. Establish and maintain the sales database for the assigned business unit. Establish and maintain Inside Sales KPI's and metrics. Respond to inquiries, communicate price quotes/discounts, customer sample requests, delivery information, product information etc. Process necessary paperwork, verify customer credit and communicate as necessary with accounting teams. Qualify customer leads and complete a seamless handoff to the appropriate person. Work closely with all members of the team, both internal and external, to ensure timely and efficient communication related to customer sales and orders. Work with the team to ensure product information sheets are accurate; distribute the appropriate marketing materials as needed. Collaborate with leadership to ensure price lists are maintained and updated. Ensure deadlines are met in support of customer and business needs. Apply customer focus to daily operations. Utilize integrity and professionalism in all daily operations. Utilize company software, enter and ensure data integrity with all transactions. Maintain safety standards. Maintain company standards and policies. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Abilities Required: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of five (5) years inside sales experience required. Must possess superior communication skills, both oral and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products. Capability to solve complex problems, utilizing critical thinking and decision-making skills. Ability to apply mathematical and sales logic to pricing. Superior organizational skills and the ability to assemble resources needed to orchestrate projects/activities and accomplish goals. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and sales approach; tactful in dealing with people at all levels. Strong sense of urgency, self-motivated and positive. Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations. Ability to actively lead change initiatives. Display highest ethical standards. Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information. Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hand dexterity to operate office equipment including computer key boards; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the office work environment is typically quiet; when visiting the production floor the noise level may be loud.
