Job Title: NOC/ Network Engineer
Location: Columbus OH and Phoenix AZ
Experience: 4+ years
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled NOC L2 Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability. This role requires hands-on experience with network devices and protocols Key Responsibilities: * Manage and monitor network queues, ensuring timely resolution of network issues. * Perform routine network health checks and proactively identify potential risks. * Upgrade and maintain network devices to ensure optimal performance. * Troubleshoot and remediate network issues, ensuring minimal downtime. * Provide triage support for major incidents, escalating as necessary. * Maintain and optimize network infrastructure for seamless connectivity. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network security and performance. * Document configurations, issues, and resolutions for future reference. Required Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * 4+ years of experience in network engineering and support. * Strong expertise in network devices and protocols including Cisco, Palo Alto, and Infoblox. * CCNP or equivalent industry certification is required. * Experience in network troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance optimization. * Ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues efficiently. * Strong communication and collaboration skills in a dynamic team environment. * Willingness to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 support environment, if required. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with firewall configurations, routing, and switching. * Familiarity with automation and scripting for network management. * Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid infrastructures.
