3RD SHIFT OFFERS AN ADDITIONAL $3.00/HOUR DIFFERENTIAL FOR BEING AVAILABLE TO WORK THIS SHIFT.
The purpose of this position is to ensure the press equipment that needs regular cleaning (fountains, pumps, rollers, plate cylinders, etc.) is properly cleaned, stored, and ready when needed.
Will be expected to assist with makeready and press clean up when duties allow.
In addition, the individual must work in a team environment with little supervision, cooperate and work with others, share information, and take the initiative to do their share to improve the makeready process.
Assist in the removal and transport of ink fountains, pumps, viscosity control equipment from the press to the clean-up area.
Assist in clean-up of the press and special equipment as designated by the operator or supervisor.
Assist in the clean-up of all ink fountains, pumps, viscosity control equipment, pitchers, dippers, ink pails, and miscellaneous equipment.
Assist in the transport and storage of pumps, fountains, ink pails, UV varnish units, rollers, cylinders, and miscellaneous equipment after it has been cleaned.
This includes tagging defective equipment for repair.
