Responsibilities:
As a Permanent AR/AP Specialist, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. 2. Processing invoices, maintaining records, and managing payments to vendors in a timely and accurate manner. 3. Generating invoices for services rendered and ensuring prompt collection of payments from clients. 4. Reconciling bank statements, verifying deposits, and addressing any discrepancies. 5. Collaborating with the finance team to prepare financial reports, perform audits, and assist with budget preparation. 6. Ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and company policies. 7. Implementing effective strategies to optimize the AR/AP processes, reduce outstanding receivables, and ensure prompt payment of invoices. 8. Liaising with clients, vendors, and internal departments to resolve any financial issues or inquiries.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, preferably within the healthcare industry. 2. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. 4. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. 5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. 7. A solid understanding of accounting principles, data analysis, and financial reporting. 8. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9. High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.
